Cardio

This cycle draws its raison d'etre in the desire to pay homage to the theme of the "heart". The expression "done with the heart" indicates the total individual involvement of someone in something, where passion and originality are put in the foreground. However, no one thinks of the "heart" as a cardio-muscle completely dependent on the arteries and veins that surround it. Initially, the cycle was to be called "Expianti", quoting the artist's words: «Thanks to the poetic imperfection of the Italian language, I have the opportunity to short-circuit the term. In the singular we have the explant of the organ from the place where it has always been then we have the explant that is the one who is atoning for a sin. In the plural, the term "explants" of the organs coincides with the "explants" that is those who are atoning ... I liked it very much, it spreads a veil of ambiguity to all the works of the cycle that will still retain their own personal title».
