Regalo impossibile

This cycle of works was born from the desire of the husband of Marli-Hoppe Ritter, collector and founder of the Ritter museum in Waldenbuch, to give his wife a special gift, so the artist came up with an "impossible gift", something that Mrs. Ritter could never have bought, and as far as the world of art buying is concerned, an impossible-to-buy work would have been a work by Mondrian, as these are all held in public museum collections. The artist bought a complete catalog of the Dutch artist's works in order to make perfect copies, and then pack them as if it were a gift package.
